Many vanilla fragrances tend to lean either a bit more sugary or heavier than the average fragrance, but Angel’s Bread manages to capture the creamy warmth of vanilla without overly amplifying its sweetness or losing its airy feel.

Performance is exceptional.
Given that it’s an extrait, Angel’s Bread has a noticeably oily concentration on skin, and that translates into outstanding longevity. On my skin, it lasts 13+ hours, making this the type of fragrance you can apply in the morning and still smell well into the evening.
Despite that longevity, projection remains moderate rather than overwhelming. Angel’s Bread creates a noticeable scent bubble around the wearer, which, given how long it sticks to your skin, is best.
Spring and Fall temperatures are where Angel’s Bread really shines. It’s cool enough to allow the warmth of the vanilla to shine, but not so cold that it mutes the moderate projection of the fragrance.
Is Angel’s Bread Really a Unisex Fragrance?
In my opinion, YES, although it leans feminine.
Angel’s Bread doesn't contain florals, fruits or any other traditionally feminine notes. At its core, this fragrance simply smells like warm baked cake.
However, the prominent vanilla and sugar—and the general sweetness of the fragrance—may cause some people to perceive it as more feminine, particularly if they associate sweet gourmands with women's fragrance.
Still, there’s nothing overtly feminine about the composition itself. Ultimately, this one has much more to do with whether you enjoy realistic gourmands than whether you typically shop in the men's or women's fragrance section.
