The Vibe

Marry Me is a beautiful fruity vanilla fragrance, brightened by the champagne note and kept warm and light from the florals. I personally am not a fan of a peach note, as it tends to be so sweet that it almost smells sour on my skin, but this nectarine note is lighter, less sweet and, in my opinion, a lot more wearable, particularly in warmer weather. The santal (french for sandalwood), provides both creaminess and depth to the base, keeping it refined and from venturing into overly gourmand territory.

Inspired by and almost identical in scent to The Wedding Silk Santal by KAYALI, which has mixed reviews on performance and longevity, this body oil is amazing on its own, or the perfect body care to layer with the fragrance, so it lasts longer.

The Formula

Beyond the fragrance, Brown Sugar Babe's body oils are some of the most nourishing I've tried. They absorb beautifully, leave the skin with a healthy glow rather than a greasy finish, and keep my skin feeling moisturized for at least 24 hours after application.

If you enjoy an extra shine and glow on your skin, this is the oil for you. You admittedly will feel a bit oily, as some of the oil has to sit on top of your skin for that shine, but you will also see improvement in your skin texture, especially if you’re normally dry. You can also apply sparingly to control the level of shine.
