The Vibe

Summer Vanilla is a light, airy and powdery take on vanilla that feels almost weightless on the skin, making it especially beautiful in warmer weather. Vanilla provides a soft sweetness, while kumquat adds a delicate touch of fruitiness that keeps the fragrance feeling bright and especially pretty in warmer weather. Violet, iris, lilac, jasmine and lily of the valley create an ethereal floral quality, while white musk, ambrette and soft woods give the fragrance a smooth, almost weightless finish.

Everything is beautifully blended, so no single floral or fruity note takes over. If you already love Dama Bianca by Casamorati, Summer Vanilla is about 95% similar to the original, with the biggest difference being that it smells slightly sweeter and a little less powdery. Feminine-leaning.

The Formula

This is a dry oil and it's important to know that before purchasing. While nourishing body oils are a bit thicker and heavier and meant to sit on the skin for extended periods, dry oils are made from lightweight oils and meant to be quickly absorbed into the skin. This is a thicker dry oil, so it will sit on your skin for a bit (1-2 hrs) depending on how much you apply, but does eventually fully absorb.
