The Vibe

Sweet Thang is one of those fragrances that completely live up to its name - it is SWEET. Linear and pretty straightforward, you don't necessarily pick up on individual notes, but get a blended airy sweetness. While the cotton candy makes this airy and gives this a candied feel and the berries provide a juicy and fruity air, the lemon helps to cut through some of the sweetness to prevent this from becoming cloying or thick like a syrup.

To my nose, there is a slightly synthetic note, but that's honestly to be expected when strawberry is featured so prominently; the smell we all know and associate with strawberry is synthetic and closer to strawberry candy vs. fruit. 

Sweet Thang makes you think of pink candy or a bright and bubbly individual smiling and waving at you on a warm and sunny day.

The Formula

Beyond the fragrance, Brown Sugar Babe's body oils are some of the most nourishing I've tried. They absorb beautifully, leave the skin with a healthy glow rather than a greasy finish, and keep my skin feeling moisturized for at least 24 hours after application.

If you enjoy an extra shine and glow on your skin, this is the oil for you. You admittedly will feel a bit oily, as some of the oil has to sit on top of your skin for that shine, but you will also see improvement in your skin texture, especially if you’re normally dry. You can also apply sparingly to control the level of shine.
